Region Three is considered one of the most active regions within the USPCA. With our Police Dog I Trials, Police Dog II/Tracking Trials, Detector Trials for narcotic & explosive canines, Iron Dog Endurance Run and Training Seminars, there's always something happening throughout the year. Activities are scheduled as far in advance as possible so members may register in time to attend. The following dates of Region Three activities have been published for your convenience. Dates of USPCA activities occurring in other regions have also been included.

Detector Trials - April 5-6, 2008

Morgan County Sheriffs Office in West Virginia is hosting our annual Detector Trials. Sat April 5 EOD, Sun April 6 Narcotics. Download Registration Form.
The form can be saved & either faxed, mailed, or emailed as an attachment to registrations@uspca3.com.
2008 Patrol Dog Training Seminar - April 9, 10, & 11, 2008 (Wed - Fri)

Hosted by the Arlington County, VA Police Dept. in Arlington County, VA.
Featuring Michael Ellis (www.loupsdusoleil.com). This seminar will focus on Obedience, Bite/Grip Development & Aggression Control.   Download Registration Form.

2008 PD1 Trials - April 27 - 28

Prince William County will be hosting the PD1 trials in Nokesville Va April 27th (Sunday) and 28th (Monday). Practice fields will be open on Friday the 25th only. Download Registration Form.

VPWDA Iron Dog - May 10th

This event is hosted by the Virginia Police Work Dog Association and will be held in Rocky Mount Va. For more information go to www.vpwda.com.

K9 Tactical Seminar- June 2nd - 4th 2008

Hosted by the Fairfax County K9 Unit. Contact: David Simpson, Fairfax County K9 Trainer at (571) 641-7783 for any information regarding this event. Registration will be handled by the hosting agency.
