Gerald Wayne Potts, Jr. Scholarship
In honor of Gerald “Jerry” Potts, Jr. former K9 handler from the City of Greenbelt, MD. Jerry passed away in 2009 due to cancer. Jerry exemplified the values of the United States Police Canine Association through his true dedication and passion to his work as a K9 handler. Jerry competed in a number of USPCA events where he earned several top finishes as well as triple crown awards. Jerry was a true friend to those who knew him and his southern charm warmed the hearts of all those he came in contact with.
